Behind the Murals & Artwork by Youth in Seattle: URBAN ARTWORKS

Admiring the murals adding art to the streets of Seattle, and surprised to see young people doing the painting, we know members will love to learn more and provide support for this organization.  With programs ranging from young artist mentorship to school-based, Urban Artworks has been active in Seattle art for youth. Since 1995, they have collaborated with thousands of young people and hundreds of artists to bring art to public spaces throughout Seattle. Urban Artworks programs foster a renewed sense of connection, creativity, and self-esteem with everyone they work with.

The presentation will be followed by questions and answers.
