Gourmet Groups

Our gourmet cooking groups are popular. Each group provides unique opportunities in the exploration of cooking and the enjoyment of sharing great food with good friends. All Goumet Groups are open to Vaccinated Only (VO) members and their guests.

EPICUREANS welcomes new participants. Typically the group meets on the last Friday of each month at a restaurant or a member’s home. If you’d like to join this dynamic group with loads of interesting things planned, contact the leader noted below. OPEN

EVENING GOURMET is a new gourmet group and welcomes new partakers. The group meets every 4-6 weeks at hosts’ homes or area restaurants. The host selects the date, theme and/or venue. Spouses and significant others are welcome to attend. Contact the leader below. OPEN

HAPPY COOKERS (at capacity) samples different cuisines from countries around the world, as well as regional American specialties. Members take turns hosting, coordinating menus, and cooking ahead of the group gathering. All participants share the expense of the meals. Past luncheons have included vegetarian, organic, Italian, Paleo and Hungarian just to name a few.

PETIT GOURMET (at capacity) likes to mix it up, figuratively and literally. Our activities have ranged from a professional paella making lesson, dumpling tasting at a local restaurant, and a Downton Abbey High Tea at a member’s home. A love of cooking, interesting experiences and great conversation is the roux blending it all together.

THE COOKBOOK GROUP (at capacity) Our newest gourmet group, for members only, requires each member to purchase a particular cookbook which is used by the group for at least 6 months. Each member prepares a dish from the cookbook, the group gathers for dinner and discuss the recipes following the meal.
