October 19 @ 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm
Celebrate Bastille Day with Friends!
France celebrates Bastille Day on July 14 with an official holiday, fireworks, community get-togethers, and meals with friends and family. Newcomers' All Things French group will celebrate Bastille Day on July 20 with lunch at Joan Stuteville's home in Queen Anne.
Please bring a dish to share. Participants can make something with a French flare, but this is the main mid-summer holiday in France, like our 4th of July, so summer holiday dishes work well. For example: a charcuterie plate, crudités, a quiche or other main, a salad, cheese plate, dessert, wine and baguette. Please bring one of the following:
- Appetizer
- Salad
- Side dish
- Main dish
- Dessert
Limit: 10 participants.
Location: Joan Stuteville's home - 1225 9th Avenue W Seattle, WA 98119
RSVP by July 8 to Joan Stuteville @ jmstute@gmail.com and let her know what dish you would like to bring.
Joan will supply menu details.
